An anecdotal Viennese expression compares a certain vine variety in the vineyard to a violin and further claims, that a Gemischter Satz equals a whole orchestra.

12 grape varieties allow this Gemischter Satz to shine: Pinot Blanc, Grüner Veltliner, Neuburger, Rotgipfler, Traminer, Roter Veltliner,  Pinot Gris, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Müller Thurgau, Gelber Muskateller &.Welschriesling, 

Exceptionally tight, crystalline elegance. pear and pineapple aromas, with a tender hint of citrus and moist slate. Finale presents fruitiness, balanced by spirited acidity. Enticing drinking flow.

Pairs delightfully with traditional Viennese Sunday dishes, like Wiener Schnitzel and fried chicken (Backhenderl); enjoy and serve at about 10°C.

Wiener Gemischter Satz DAC “Nußberg” 2022

Alcohol content 13,5% by vol., dry.

Exclusive second charge, filled with a higher percentage of Pinot Blanc & Gris.

The wine was allowed to kept in contact with its lees for a longer duration (sur lies) and because of that, exhibits a creamy voluptuousness on the palate.

Partners well with pork roast and Tafelspitz (enjoy and serve at about 10°C).

Wiener Gemischter Satz DAC “Ried GOAßKELLER” 2023

Alcohol content 13,5% by vol., dry. vegan

Harvested on the 18th of October

“schönin” (50%) in a modern Gemischter Satz version with Neuburger(30%), Grüner Veltliner(15%), and Mendoza-Chardonnay, all from my No 1 vineyard “Goaßkeller.

Fragrantly spirited and fruity character meets encouraging acidity. 

A hint of salt and a well balanced, rich in extracts, final. The exquisite and noble Viennese (Gemischter Satz) for true wine connoisseurs! 

Ideally served with traditional Viennese dishes, like cold cut platter and roasted pork.

Weißburgunder (Pinot Blanc) 2023

Alcohol content 14% by vol., dry.

Harvest of 55 year old vines from the terroir Unger,  on the 11 of October.

In Viennese Buschenschank culture, this wine was called the special one “SPEZI”.

This was the best open bottle served wine; usually a very aromatic well ripened Pinot Blanc. My goal is to honour this outstanding, traditional vintner style. Typical burgundy and gently roasted almonds notes charm the olfactory and a delicate glaze combining with fruit and moderate acidity.Delightful companion for all your favourite dishes (enjoy and serve at about 10°C).
